2012-03-07 09:33:00.0	Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd	Updates	Rural Electrification Corporation Limited has informed the Exchange, in continuation to the earlier announcement dated March 02, 2012, that Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India has issued corrigendum to Notification dated February 14, 2012 and Explanation thereof, vide its Notification dated March 06, 2012 for certain modifications as detailed mentioned below: (a) The phrase "Rural Electrification Corporation" in para 1, shall be substituted with "Rural Electrification Corporation Limited". (b) The Explanation to the aforesaid notification shall stand substituted by the following Explanation: "(i) Qualified Institutional Buyers shall have the same meaning as assigned to it in the SEBI (Issue and Listing of Debt Securities) Regulations, 2008. (ii) Any individual investor investing upto rupees five lakh shall be treated as retail investor and any individual investor investing more than rupees five lakh shall be treated as High Networth individual". Other terms and conditions of the Public Issue will remain unchanged.
